Answer: An average meat pig weighs anywhere between 150 to 180 lbs.
Question: What is your description of a trophy?
Answer: A trophy boar with 2-inch or better tusk length.
Question: I would like to leave my game with you to be processed. Can you help?
Answer: If you’d like us to deliver your pig(s) to our local butcher for processing, we will provide you with a required Processor’s Report and a map to J&R Meats. It is your responsibility to give the butcher cutting instructions and pick up your meat in a timely manner. J&R Meats offers processing that takes anywhere between 3 to 7 business days and will gladly ship your meat (additional fee) to you if you cannot make the trip back to their facility. The fees to process a pig begins around $95.00 each. Having hams smoked or sausage linked will add to the cost. See Jim’s web site for further information: www.jrmeats.com
